Après avoir été biologiste, à l’écoute des confidences des patients et de leurs corps qui parlent, des cellules qui prolifèrent, Christine Anziani a décidé d’écrire avec le collage la trace « d’histoires fines » qui se cache derrière l’histoire dominante et aliénante des individus.

” En 2010,j’abandonne toute autre activité professionnelle pour écrire des histoires principalement à travers des collages dans lesquels chaque petit morceau de papier est comme un mot.
Mon travail s’apparente à la récupération de traces mnésiques, parfois infimes, des « instantanés », des flash-back. En glanant des éléments au fil des pages des magazines, je suis un fil sensoriel qui éveille ma curiosité, me met en état d’alerte. Une couleur, une texture provoquent un écho d’une sensation ancienne, une réminiscence d’une expérience.

Dans le collage, chaque morceau a perdu son origine et devient ouvert à tous les possibles, pour construire un nouvel objet-personnage qui devient tangible. Parfois un détail est accentué, comme vu au travers d’un microscope.L’espace blanc permet à la fois la circulation, et l’idée de non-achevé. Cela me fait penser aux « zones blanches » de non réception des ondes téléphoniques sur le territoire, dans lesquelles la communication est impossible. En anglais, on parle de « white spot » (zone blanche), de « blind spot » (zone aveugle). Un équilibre se joue entre le « trop de blanc » et le dernier morceau ajouté qui permet l’ouverture d’un espace imaginaire. Trouver le lien, comme le raccordement au réseau territorial, permet de raconter une histoire alternative à nouveau audible dans le travail de mémoire.

Par l’utilisation de matériaux ordinaires et partout disponibles, je souligne à la fois la fragilité et l’universalité du processus de reconstruction. Les techniques simples de collage renvoient jusqu’à l’enfance mais les découpes au scalpel évoquent les « frappes chirurgicales ».

Je montre au spectateur l’invisible derrière l’apparence élégante et énigmatique, le paradoxe entre force et vulnérabilité, ou entre verticalité et risque d’effondrement.”

This reminds me of the “white zones” of non-reception of telephone waves in the territory, in which communication is impossible. In English, we speak of “white spot”, of “blind spot”. A balance is played between the "too much white" and the last piece added which allows the opening of an imaginary space. Finding the link, like the connection to the territorial network, makes it possible to tell an alternative story that is again audible in the work of memory.

By using ordinary and widely available materials, I emphasize both the fragility and the universality of the reconstruction process. The simple collage techniques go back to childhood, but the scalpel cuts evoke “surgical strikes.” I show the viewer the invisible behind the elegant and enigmatic appearance, the paradox between strength and vulnerability, or between verticality and risk of collapse. ”
