"La notion de paysage est au centre du travail de  Pauline Bétin. Elle s'’intéresse  aux espaces qui délimitent le paysage urbain du paysage rural.

Ses créations révèlent et interrogent ces confrontations entre construction de l’homme et nature, entre verre et photographie, entre image et volume.

Inspirée  des éléments qui façonnent son environnement, Pauline Bétin construit, déconstruit et fabrique des architectures minimalistes. Véritables constructions utopiques, ses réalisations révèlent un dialogue entre l'intime et le collectif, dont la cohabitation est prétexte à toute poésie. Les contrastes entre matité et brillance d'une part,  opacité et transparence d'autre part offrent une lecture multiple. Son travail se nourrit par ailleurs de ses expériences au contact de la matière et d'un graphisme résolument personnel."

Her creations create questions and reveal the confrontations; between human construction and nature, between glass and photography, between image and volume.

Inspired by the elements that surround her, Pauline Bétin constructs, deconstructs and builds minimalist architectures. True utopian constructions, her realisations reveal a conversation between the intimate and the collective, where the cohabitation is a pretext for every poetry. Contrasts between matte and brightness on one side, opacity and transparency on the other side present a multiple reading.  Her work is also filled up with her experiences upon contact with the substance and a graphic firmly personal.”
